drove from the city to find my last home hung from a tree by a city rope you called my cell phone from a dirt road you told me come back i never told you though we built a house and let everyone in for better or worse i won't forget our skin you build it, you break it it takes time to make it and now i see you've become the concrete slowly crumbling under my timid feet you cast sail, arose from the grave you live a life, a life that i crave so i'll burry it in a song i know you'll never sing you we're the best friends even if i wasn't anything and i am not angry, i just wish this didn't have to end, so i hope that my letters do not come off with contempt, and for every tear soaked shoulder and every heart to heart that we had, for every kept promise that we never had to regret, i know that if you promise too, i will never forget and i won't forget our first train rides and i won't forget all our restless nights yea i won't forget sleeping in your van i know it's it's stupid but you were the best friends anyone could ever have you build it, you break it it takes time to make it you build it, they'll break it it takes time to make it

about

So, it's not really news that we're no longer a thing. That happened a while ago. And I'm speaking for both bands right now - Captain Spark(l)y and Come With Me (If You Want To Live). If this is news to you, well - please rejoice in knowing that we are no longer things. Mainly, we realized we make terrible music and we're terrible people. Sorry it took us this long to realize what you knew from the start.

Captain Sparky fizzled out after one too many whiskey infused side project cooking shows and was unable to be revived.

Come With Me (If You Want To Live) got dropped by our label in Japan and shortly after that, all of our money ran dry. We also lost our local sponsorship deal with a certain New Brunswick based 6% alcohol drink. Which is fine. We didn't deserve what we had.

Anyways, because way too many of you have treated us so kindly, we figured we would put out a final release. Thank you for everything you ever did for us.

Sorry we tried to ruin your life. And failed.
